SERVICES

Immigrating to the United States is not an easy task but with the right help on your side, you too can achieve the American dream.

FAMILY BASED PETITIONS

The United States allows U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR’s) to petition for certain family members to be allowed to enter the United States and gain Permanent Residency.

SELF-PETITIONS

Certain immigrants can apply to legalize their status on their own, without a family member petitioning for them. These petitions can be VAWA, U-VISA, Special Immigrant Juvenile or Removal of Conditions.

WAIVERS

Certain people may be ineligible for Lawful Permanent Residency in the United States unless the government agrees to waive that ineligibility due to criminal or immigration background.

REMOVAL DEFENSE

Immigrants who are present in the United States without permission and are arrested by immigration authorities, are given an opportunity to see an immigration judge to fight for their right to stay in the country legally.

CITIZENSHIP AND VISA

Immigrants can apply to become U.S. citizens after five years of being Lawful Permanent Residents, in certain cases immigrants can apply after three years.

EMPLOYMENT BASED IMMIGRATION

The Law Firm of Luis Ruiz serves employers, entrepreneurs, and individuals alike with their business immigration needs. In order to qualify for most business visas, an employer must sponsor the employee for the visa.
